How can we help?
Ask a question, report a problem or ask us to delete your account. We reply within two working days, and look at reports within 24 hours.
Send us a message
We'll reply to the e-mail address you give us.
Report something or someone
- A comment: tap Melden (Report) under the comment.
- A recipe someone sent you: open the conversation in Berichten (Messages) and tap Melden under the recipe.
- A profile: open the profile and tap Melden in the top right.
- After reporting, Remy offers to Blokkeren (Block) straight away. Someone you block can't send you anything. You'll find who you blocked in Settings under Geblokkeerd, where you can also undo it.
- You can also use the form above: choose Report someone and add their handle.
We look at every report within 24 hours. If the content breaks the rules, we remove it and may block the account.
Delete your account
- Open Instellingen → Account (Settings → Account).
- Tap Account verwijderen (Delete account) and confirm.
- Your account, your recipes and everything others saw of you are deleted, including the data on your phone.
Can't do it in the app? Send us a message with the form above and choose Delete my account. What exactly is deleted is in the privacy policy.
Frequently asked questions
I don't get a sign-in code.
Check your spam folder. A code is valid for an hour. After a few attempts you'll have to wait a moment before a new one comes.
Importing a recipe doesn't work.
Remy reads the caption or the page, not the video itself. If the recipe is only in the video, there's nothing to read. In that case, paste the text, take a photo of the recipe or enter it by hand.
What does Remy send to the AI?
Only the recipe material: the text or the photo you give it. Not who you are. Remy asks your permission first, the first time you import a recipe; you can turn it off again in Instellingen › Profiel en privacy. See the privacy policy.
Where are my allergens stored?
Only on your phone. On a new phone, you fill them in again.
Who sees what I cook?
People who follow you, as long as Kookacties delen (Share cooking activity) is on. It's on by default; you turn it off in Instellingen › Profiel en privacy.
Does Remy track what I do?
Only anonymous usage statistics: which parts of the app are used, without your name, account or recipe text. It's on by default; you turn it off in Instellingen › Profiel en privacy.
